Course Description

The programme is a nationally recognized vocational qualification accredited by OCR., one of the UK‘s leading awarding bodies. Designed for staffs who deliver physical, emotional or enabling care to clients who have a medium to high degree of dependency, whether they work in health or social care, or in the public, private or voluntary sectors.

The award has links to the NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care award, but reflects a higher level of responsibility and specialization. As such, it is a potential progression route from Level 2.

• Overseas Nurses qualified but not taken the Board Exam (Philippines)
• Care Giver Graduate
• Physiotherapist, Midwife, Social Worker
• Evidence of satisfactory health and character
